Husky Roadshows are designed by the Department of Student Activities to provide round trip transportation for UConn undergraduate students attending sporting events at Pratt & Whitney Stadium at Rentschler Field and the XL Center.  Husky Roadshows are intended to increase students' ability to attend off-campus home games, while classes are in session, and to support UConn athletics in general.

2022-2023 Men’s & Women’s Basketball Roadshow Information

FREE Roadshow Tickets Available at the Student Union Info Center.

Roadshow tickets provide round trip transportation from the Storrs campus to XL Center in Hartford, CT.  You must secure a game ticket prior to the game. 4 buses have been secured for each of the 2023 basketball games. Please be sure to pick your ticket up as soon as possible. We ask that you only claim a Roadshow ticket if you are sure you will be using the bus so that students who need a ride can get one.

All Roadshow tickets are FREE to UConn students.  Tickets will be available to be picked up at the Student Union Information Center beginning the Monday prior to the game, but must be obtained by 3pm 2 days prior to the game.  A valid UConn ID is necessary to pick up a free Roadshow ticket.

Buses will depart from campus at the Austin Building (Mansfield Busway) 1 1/2 hours prior to the scheduled game time.  Students must have a valid UConn student ID and a printed Husky Roadshow ticket to board a bus.  Roadshow tickets on phones and tablets will not be accepted.

Students are not allowed to leave anything on the bus, nor bring items that are not permitted at the XL Center such as umbrellas, backpacks, large handbags, coolers, and banners/signs. Food and beverages are also prohibited on the buses.

The last bus will leave promptly 30 minutes after the end of the game. Meet on Trumbull Street and show your stamped hand or your Roadshow ticket for a ride back to the Storrs campus.

Students are responsible for their actions on the buses and while at the game. The University Code of Conduct will be enforced, and violators will be reported to the Office of Community Standards.
